Step 1: Online application
The first step is to complete both the OHP online application AND the OHP Supplemental Information application. These applications provide the information necessary to start the process. Links to both applications are included below.

Step 2: Interview and reference checks
Once we receive your full application and supplemental information, the OHP staff will review all your material. If all the necessary information is received, then staff members will arrange an interview. This could be in-person, by telephone, or by some other electronic method (Zoom, MS Team, etc). Additionally, OHP staff members will contact your references.
Step 3: background check (BGC) process

Once all the above steps have been satisfactorily completed, OHP applicants will undergo the final staff review. If everything is in order, the applicants will undergo one final comprehensive review. If selected to join the OHP team, applicants will then proceed to the assignment location selection process.
