Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) are designed to meet the unique needs of the military mission, service members, and their families. The Navy CYP goal is to support your child’s development by offering high-quality programs that help build positive relationships with peers and caring adults. We provide sports and recreational activities that focus on building self-esteem, developing appropriate relationships, facilitating academic success, and making healthy choices. Take a look below at the available offerings!
Child development centers
Child Development Centers (CDC) are open to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, for full-time or part-time care. Our classrooms are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. They provide fun, inclusive and engaging environments, individualized learning experiences that meet the needs of each child, and great opportunities for socialization!
SCHOOL AGE CARE
School Age Care (SAC) programs provide quality out-of-school activities for children in kindergarten through 12 years old. Our programs are designed to enhance rather than duplicate the school day, and we work with dynamic organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and 4-H to offer the best programming.
Before School: Often times you need to be at work before the school day starts, and our before-school services are
there to help. Transportation may be offered through your local installation.
After School: When the kids are out of school but you’re still at work, take advantage of our after-school activities.
Transportation may be offered through your local installation.
Half-Day Kindergarten: Many school systems only offer half-day kindergarten. To meet your needs, our half-day
program is there to pick up the rest of the day! This program may be offered in the morning, afternoon, or both.
Holiday/Summer Camps: During those holiday breaks or long summer sessions, we’ve got activities to keep your
children engaged.
Part-Day Preschool: SAC programs are encouraged to maximize the use of program space by offering a part-day
preschool program during the school day when youth are not using the facility.

Teen PROGRAMS
Teen Programs offer fun learning activities that go above and beyond the regular school day while also providing a sense of community and a social outlet. These programs are affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and often feature 4-H programming. Teen Programs can provide that important opportunity for teens to mature socially and emotionally while focusing on character development, leadership skills, communication, and self-esteem.
